Putin calls Erdogan

Russian President Vladimir Putin and Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan have mulled the situation with wildfires in Turkey in a phone call, Report informs, citing the Kremlin's press service.
"The sides stressed the importance of the interaction of the two countries in fighting this natural disaster. Vladimir Putin reiterated that Russia would provide extensive support to Turkey in containing fires," the press service said.
The Turkish president warmly thanked Putin for the substantial assistance provided.
