Putin and Erdogan speak on the phone

Russian President Vladimir Putin had a telephone conversation with his Turkish counterpart Recep Tayyip Erdogan, Report informs citing RIA Novosti report quoting the Kremlin press service.
Vladimir Putin briefed his Turkish counterpart on the course of the negotiations between the Russian and Ukrainian representatives.
Erdogan, for his part, expressed the hope for a positive outcome of the talks between Russia and Ukraine. According to him, if a permanent ceasefire is declared, then the way to a long-term settlement will be opened, according to the office of the Turkish leader.
In addition, Erdogan reaffirmed his readiness to receive the presidents of Russia and Ukraine in Ankara or Istanbul.
