Putin accuses some Western countries of causing crisis in Ukraine

The desire of some Western countries to maintain their hegemony in the world caused a serious crisis in Ukraine, Russian President Vladimir Putin said at BRICS Summit, Report informs.
According to him, Russia's actions in Ukraine can be explained only as an attempt to stop the war started by the West: "Russia is grateful to its partners within the BRICS who are trying to help resolve the conflict in Ukraine."
