Presidents of Israel & Russia talk over phone

On August 9, a telephone conversation took place between Israeli President Isaac Herzog and Russian President Vladimir Putin, Report informs referring to the Jerusalem Post.
The presidents discussed issues related to bilateral relations, the activities of the Jewish diaspora outside of Israel, as well as the work of the Sokhnut center in Russia.
Earlier the Basmanny District Court of Moscow, on the basis of a petition from the Russian Ministry of Justice, suspended the activities of the Jewish organization "Sokhnut" in connection with its activities that contradict the laws of the country.
