President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy has arrived at the front line in the Kupiansk region, Report informs referring to RBC-Ukraine.

“President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy, during a trip to the Kharkiv region, visited the battalion command post of the 14th separate mechanized brigade named after Prince Roman the Great, which carries out combat missions to defend Kupiansk,” the message says.

In particular, Zelenskyy heard a report from the brigade commander, Lieutenant Colonel Oleksii Trubnikov, on the operational situation in this sector of the front and interaction with adjacent units of the Defense Forces.

“The brigade commander also told the president about the experience of using drones of various types in the area of ​​responsibility and about the features of combating enemy UAVs using electronic warfare systems. We separately discussed the provision of units with equipment, ammunition, etc.,” the message said.

Forbes recently wrote that the Russian side is massing 500 tanks, up to 600 combat vehicles, hundreds of howitzers and 40,000 military personnel near Kupiansk.
