The Council of the Armenian National Assembly has rejected the parliamentary opposition's proposal to convene an extraordinary session to discuss a vote of no confidence against Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, as reported by Seyran Ohanyan, head of the Hayastan faction.
Report informs via Sputnik Armenia that the opposition had previously suggested including a message from the National Assembly on the resignation of the government and the formation of a new government in the agenda of the extraordinary session.
In response to the opposition's proposal, Hayk Konjorian, head of the parliamentary faction Civil Contract, suggested that the opposition discuss their concerns during the plenary session or raise them during the "parliamentary" hour with the elected Prime Minister and government.
