Aeroflot’s Boeing 737-800 plane made an emergency landing at Omsk airport on February 7 morning due to the smell of burnt wiring in the cabin, Report informs citing RIA Novosti.
The plane flew from Moscow’s Sheremetyevo Airport to Gorno-Altaysk, but had to land in Omsk due to the smell of burnt wiring in the cabin.
“During the flight in the Novosibirsk zone, the crew reported to the dispatcher about the smell of burnt wiring in the aircraft cabin and decided to proceed to the Omsk Tsentralny alternate airfield. The Boeing 737-800 headed to the parking lot, the passengers went down the ladder. Technical services inspect the aircraft,” the press service of the Omsk airport explained.
