Peskov: Russia officially not using Starlink terminals

Starlink satellite communication terminals are not officially supplied to Russia and cannot be used officially, Russian Presidential Spokesperson Dmitry Peskov told journalists, Report informs referring to TASS.

“This system is not certified here, therefore it cannot be officially supplied, and therefore cannot be used officially in any way,” he noted, commenting on the possibility of using Starlink satellite communication terminals in the Russian Federation.

Earlier, entrepreneur and owner of SpaceX Elon Musk said that Starlink satellite communication terminals developed by SpaceX were not sold to Russia. Musk called false reports citing the Ukrainian military that Russian troops were allegedly using Starlink terminals.
