Peskov: Putin does not need to meet with Western leaders

Currently, there is no need for a meeting between Russian President Vladimir Putin and the leaders of Western countries, contacts will take place when such a need arises, Dmitry Peskov, press secretary of the Russian President, said while commenting on Putin's refusal to personally participate in the last G20 summit, Report informs.
"Putin does not need a meeting with these people now, because this meeting cannot add anything constructive to our agenda," the spokesperson stressed.
The Kremlin official pointed out that Putin's international schedule is "extremely active, but in directions that are constructive and meet Russia's interests."
"When the time comes to meet with those gentlemen, this will definitely be done," he said.
