Pashinyan: Normalization with Türkiye to open land links between Armenia, EU

Normalizing relations with Türkiye will allow Armenia to secure land links with the European Union, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said at the congress of the ruling Civil Contract party on Saturday, Report informs via Armenian media.
"Our active dialogue with Türkiye shows that in the near future we will have land transport links with Türkiye, and therefore with the European Union," he said.
He added that if the ruling party wins the parliamentary elections in June 2026, Armenia will intensify its efforts to join the European Union "without conflicting with regionalization or its foreign policy of balancing."
