Pashinyan: Issue of signing Baku-Yerevan peace treaty discussed in conversation with US secretary of state

Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said that during a telephone conversation with US Secretary of State Marco Rubio on March 25, the issue of signing a peace treaty between Yerevan and Baku was discussed, among other things, Report informs via Armenian media.

Pashinyan was speaking on March 26 during the government hour in parliament.

He noted that the US secretary of state stressed the importance of reaching an agreement on a peace treaty between Yerevan and Baku and completing negotiations on the document.

He noted that the parties agreed that the peace treaty should be signed and ratified as soon as possible.

Pashinyan stressed that he discussed strengthening bilateral relations with Rubio: "We agreed to continue high-level contacts between Armenia and the United States."
