Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan didn't rule out that the management of the road from Azerbaijan to Nakhchivan via Syunik could be transferred to a private company, Report informs via Armenian media.

"We are discussing, for example, the creation of a company that will attract investments. All this economy needs to be created and managed. Moreover, all this can and should be the property of Armenia," he said at a press conference.

He noted that there are several similar cases regarding the issue of delegating management.

"For example, the management of Zvartnots Airport has been delegated. I don't think that the jurisdiction, territorial integrity, or jurisdiction of Armenia have been violated in any way here," Pashinyan said.

He added that the same situation applies to the management of the water supply system, the railways of Armenia, etc.

However, in all the listed cases, these infrastructures are the property of Armenia, he noted. In addition, Pashinyan said that Armenia is ready to simplify the regime for the passage of goods through its territory.

"I am surprised that some forces or people are trying to present the resumption of railway traffic through the territory of Armenia as a tragedy. Meanwhile, the tragedy is that there is no transit railway communication through Armenia," the prime minister emphasized.
