Omicron detected in 50 Russian regions

The new coronavirus strain, known as omicron, has been fixed in 50 regions of Russia.
Report informs, citing RIA Novosti, that no cases of omicron strain have been revealed in 35 regions of the country yet.
Russian Vice PM Tatyana Golikova said earlier that delta strain was responsible for 60% of COVID infection cases in Russia, while omicron and some other strains accounted for 40% of patients as of January 18.
