Official meeting between Tokayev and Erdogan begins in Ankara

The official meeting between the President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev and the President of Türkiye Recep Tayyip Erdogan has started in Ankara, Report informs with refernce to press service of the Kazakh president.
Kassym-Jomart Tokayev was met by Recep Tayyip Erdogan at the entrance to the presidential palace. A guard of honor was lined up in honor of the Kazakh leader's arrival, and the motorcade was accompanied by a horse guard. The national anthems of the two countries were played, and 21 artillery salvos were fired.
After reviewing the guard of honor, the leaders of the two states introduced the members of the official delegations to each other. Immediately after the ceremony, talks began between the two leaders.
Erdogan and Tokayev will also co-chair the Fifth Meeting of the Türkiye-Kazakhstan High-Level Strategic Cooperation Council. The talks will evaluate relations between Ankara and Astana.
