Number of COVID-19 deaths in Russia per day amounts to 796 people

The number of confirmed cases of coronavirus infection in Russia increased by 137,642 over the day, totaling 15,795,570. In relative terms, the increase in the number of infections amounted to 0.88%.
Report informs, citing the Operational Headquarters that the number of hospitalizations due to coronavirus per day amounted to 16,349, which is 5.46% less than the previous day.
The number of hospitalizations decreased in 52 regions.
During the day, 179,203 people recovered from coronavirus, up to 12,836,228.
The number of COVID-19 deaths increased by 785 per day, to 347,816. The day before, 796 deaths were registered.
