Iran's Minister of Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts, Reza Salehi Amiri, has highlighted that the development of tourism in Iran is hindered by the outdated fleet of passenger planes, Report informs via Radio Farda.
The minister noted that last year, 6.38 million tourists visited Iran. He pointed out that there are currently 130 old passenger planes in operation.
Despite this challenge, Reza Amiri expressed optimism that the number of tourists could reach 15 million within the next four years.
