The former President of Georgia, Mikheil Saakashvili, expressed his opinion on the postponement of the court hearing scheduled for today, Report informs.
"The trial was adjourned indefinitely, at least until the fall. This clearly shows that the Russian government has collapsed. Of course, today's example proves that I am a prisoner of war of Putin and his local puppets. Why are you afraid of me coming out?"
"My arrest is a shameful event in the history of Georgia. The people of Georgia, together with the international community, must put an end to this injustice as soon as possible," he wrote on social media.
He said that despite his poor health, he is mentally strong.
The former President believes in victory: "We will win as a result of our unity."
