Yerevan doesn't intend to return its ambassador Razmik Khumaryan to Minsk, Report informs via Sputnik Armenia.
It is reported that the ambassador was recalled to Armenia for consultations back in June 2024, and has not returned to Belarus since then.
The day before, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko had a verbal altercation at a meeting of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council in St. Petersburg. Pashinyan participated in the meeting online.
Relations between Yerevan and Minsk have cooled significantly recently. The foreign ministries of the two countries exchanged notes in June.
