Macron to visit Armenia in May

French President Emmanuel Macron will pay a state visit to Armenia on May 4–5, Report informs, citing the Armenian government.
The upcoming visit was discussed during a meeting between Deputy Prime Minister of Armenia Tigran Khachatryan and French Ambassador to Armenia Olivier Decottignies.
It was noted that Macron's visit will take place within the framework of the European Political Community Summit scheduled for May 4 in Yerevan.
During the talks, the two sides discussed key areas of bilateral cooperation and the implementation of strategically important joint projects.
Both officials emphasized the importance of constructive cooperation to effectively address current tasks and further expand Armenia–France relations.
