Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko has announced that he will take part in the next presidential elections, which will take place in 2025, Report informs.
He also noted that the country’s authorities are not aiming to excite society with messages about threats to the country. According to Lukashenko, the more the West “strains” Belarus, the stronger his decision to run in the elections will be.
“Tell them (the opposition - ed.) that I will participate. And the more difficult the situation is, the more actively they stir up our society, the faster I will go to these elections. Therefore, don’t worry, we will do as necessary for Belarus,” said Alexander Lukashenko.
