Lebedev: Meeting of CIS Council of Foreign Ministers to be held in Minsk on April 12

The meeting of the CIS Council of Foreign Ministers will be held in Minsk on April 12, CIS Secretary-General Sergei Lebedev told journalists, Report informs referring to Belarusian media.

“Yesterday I had a meeting with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Belarus Sergei Aleynik, and we already substantively discussed preparations for the upcoming meeting of the Council of CIS Foreign Ministers in Minsk on April 12,” said the CIS secretary-general.

One of the main issues of the April meeting will be the interaction of the CIS countries in the international arena.

“The first question will be on the situation in the world, on coordinating our actions in the international arena,” Lebedev said.
