Lavrov warns of consequences of sending NATO peacekeepers to Ukraine

If NATO sends its peacekeepers to Ukraine, it would mean the direct confrontation of Russia's armed forces and the alliance, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said, Report informs, citing RIA Novosti.
"Our Polish counterparts have already said that the NATO summit would be held, and it is necessary to send peacekeepers. I hope they understand what they mean. It will be that very direct confrontation of the Russian and NATO armed forces, which everyone said should not happen in principle," Lavrov said.
