Landslide death toll in Georgia reaches 29

The total death toll from a landslide in the resort of Shovi in the high mountain region of Racha in Georgia has reached 29 people, Report informs referring to the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia.
"As a result of search work in the disaster zone, rescuers found another body. At the moment, 29 bodies have been found, the search for the four missing continues," the report says.
A large-scale landslide in Shovi occurred on August 3. Bridges, roads, tourist cottages and the Sunset Shovi Hotel were damaged. According to preliminary data of experts, more than 5 million cubic meters of soil came down from the mountains. The total area of the disaster site was 26 hectares.
