Kazakhstan: 138 new COVID-19 cases detected

Press Service of the Ministry of Health has reported 138 more cases of coronavirus infection in Kazakhstan.
“The total number of infected persons in Kazakhstan reached 5,417”, - the message says.
More than 2.2 thousand people recovered, 32 people lost their lives.
The novel coronavirus (COVID-19) emerged in late 2019 in China’s Hubei province, and the virus has spread to 212 countries and territories since then.
To date, COVID-19 cases surpassed 4,300,000 globally, resulting in more than 1,600,000 recoveries and over 290,000 deaths.
On February 11, the WHO officially named the 2019 novel coronavirus (2019-nCoV) as COVID-19, and on March 11, declared it a pandemic.
