Kazakh woman gives birth to 6 kg 'giant' baby

A woman in southern Kazakhstan has given birth to a baby weighing over 6 kg (13.2 lbs).

Report informs via Kazakh media that, according to the Health Ministry, Aigerim Tukeeva, a resident of the Zhambyl Region, became a mother for the first time.

Due to the baby's extraordinary size, doctors performed a cesarean section.

The ministry reported that both the mother and her 'gigantic' baby are doing well and preparing to be discharged from the maternity hospital.
