Japan hopes for the soonest signing of a peace treaty between Azerbaijan and Armenia, spokesperson for the Japanese Foreign Ministry, Kitamura Toshihiro, said, according to Report.
"Japan welcomes the statements made by Armenia and Azerbaijan regarding the agreement on the text of the peace treaty. The final settlement of the conflict between the two countries is of crucial importance for peace and stability in the South Caucasus," he noted.
