Israeli president to visit Kazakhstan

President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev held talks with Israeli President Isaac Herzog and discussed prospects for cooperation, Report informs referring to the press service of Akorda (Kazakh presidential office).

"Kassym-Jomart Tokayev had a telephone conversation with Israeli President Isaac Herzog. During the conversation, which took place at the initiative of the Israeli side, Isaac Herzog congratulated Kassym-Jomart Tokayev on the upcoming Nauryz holiday," reads the statement.

The heads of state discussed prospects for deepening trade and economic cooperation between Kazakhstan and Israel, confirming their readiness to maintain a high level of bilateral relations.

"An agreement was reached on the visit of the president of Israel to Kazakhstan during the year," added the Akorda.
