Iraq suspends oil export to Iran

Baku. 16 February. REPORT.AZ/ Iraq has suspended oil export to Iran.
Report informs citing the Anadolu agency.
It was reported earlier that a local government in northern Iraq transported crude oil to Iran through Basmak Checkpoint. At present, this transportation has stopped.
Samal Abdulrahim, head of the Control Point, said that the decision to suspend oil exports to Iran came into force on February 15.
The reason is mentioned US sanctions against Iran.
