Iranian, Qatari FMs discuss Gaza ceasefire

In a recent phone conversation, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi and his Qatari counterpart Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani delved into the latest regional developments, including the ceasefire agreement in the Gaza Strip, Report informs via Mehr News Agency.
The two diplomats also explored topics of mutual interest, with Minister Araghchi expressing his appreciation for the ceasefire agreement.
Sheikh Al Thani, in turn, provided an update on the progress of the ceasefire negotiations.
On January 15, a ceasefire agreement between HAMAS and Israel was brokered with the involvement of the US, Egypt, and Qatar. This ceasefire is set to commence on January 19 and will be in effect for 42 days.
