Iranian FM expresses support for Hamas

Iran will continue its principled policy of supporting the legitimate resistance of the peoples of the region, particularly in Palestine and Lebanon, against Israeli attacks, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said during a phone conversation with Hamas Political Bureau member Khalil al-Hayya.

Araghchi informed him about Iran"s latest measures to end the war in the region.

Khalil al-Hayya, in turn, informed Araghchi about the latest situation in Palestine, particularly in the Gaza Strip. He noted that they will continue resistance until the attacks on Palestine stop.

The Hamas Political Bureau member also expressed gratitude for the position of the Iranian delegation in talks with the United States, emphasizing the need for a simultaneous end to the war on all fronts in the region, and thanked the Islamic Republic for its support of the legitimate struggle of the Palestinian people.
