Iran opposes NATO expansion

The Iranian authorities oppose the expansion of the North Atlantic alliance, Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdollahian said during talks with his Finnish counterpart Pekka Haavisto in Geneva, Report informs referring to TASS.
According to a statement published on February 27 on the website of the Iranian Foreign Ministry, Abdollahian stressed that Tehran is “categorically against the expansion of NATO” and the continuation of the conflict in Ukraine, as well as against creating a threat to the sovereignty and territorial integrity of other countries.
