Iran official: Talks with US held under supreme leader's supervision

The delegation directly involved in the negotiation process with Washington operates under the supervision of the Iranian leadership, and all steps are approved by Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei.
Report informs that Abdullah Haji Sadeghi, the Supreme Leader's representative in the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), said this.
"Negotiations with American representatives are being conducted under the full supervision of our senior officials and depend on the support of the Supreme Leader," he added.
He stressed that Tehran will not retreat in the face of any threats or pressure.
