Iran detains second participant of deadly attack at Shiraz mosque

Iranian security forces have detained the second participant in an armed attack on the Shah Cherakh mosque in Shiraz, the Iranian Intelligence Minister Esmaeil Khatib said, Report informs via Tasnim.

“The second person involved in the armed attack in Shiraz was detained by a group from the Imam Zaman unit of soldiers,” he said.

On the evening of October 26, three unidentified men attacked the Shah Cherakh mosque in the city of Shiraz, located in southern Iran.

As a result of the terrorist attack, 20 people were killed and several dozen injured.
