Head of Organization of Turkic States congratulates Turkic world on anniversary of Nakhchivan Agreement

The Secretary General of the Organization of Turkic states has congratulated the Turkic world on the anniversary of the signing of the Nakhchivan Agreement.

"We proudly celebrate the 15th anniversary of the signing of the Nakhchivan Agreement, which established the Organization of Turkic States (OTS)," Kubanychbek Omuraliev said in a congratulatory message.

According to Report, he said October 3 is also celebrated as the Day of Cooperation of Turkic States.

"On this significant date, I proudly extend my heartfelt congratulations to our brothers and sisters throughout the Turkic world. [...] Our unity, based on a common language, history and traditions, grows stronger year by year. The Organization of Turkic States has become a cornerstone for strengthening cooperation in political, economic, cultural and educational, as well as social spheres, expanding and covering 30 areas of interaction," the congratulation states.

The message also emphasizes that thanks to key initiatives in the fields of transport, energy, digitalization and measures to combat climate change, the OTS aims for even greater success.

"Together we are stronger!" concluded Kubanychbek Omuraliev.
