Germany threatens Russia with tough economic sanctions

There will be no NATO military response to Russia’s actions over Ukraine, but very tough economic sanctions will follow, Marie-Agnes Strack-Zimmermann, head of the German Bundestag Defense Committee, said on the sidelines of the Munich Security Conference, Report informs referring to RIA Novosti.
Hard economic sanctions are prepared, and if Russian President Vladimir Putin takes this military step, he must know that there will be no military action by NATO. Ukraine, of course, will be resisting. But there will be harsh consequences, she added.
