Germany shuts down its Consulate General in Russia's Kaliningrad

The German Consulate General ceases operations in Russia’s Kaliningrad Oblast as of November 30, Report informs via TASS.
“From November 30, 2023, the [German] Consulate General in Kaliningrad will be closed. For consular and passport issues from the consular district of the Consulate General in Kaliningrad, please contact the Consulate General in St. Petersburg. For visa questions, please contact exclusively the visa department of the German Embassy in Moscow,” the Consulate General said.
