Georgia to censor broadcasting scenes promoting LGBT issues on television

Broadcasting scenes promoting LGBT issues on Georgian television will be prohibited, Speaker of the Georgian Parliament Shalva Papuashvili said, Report informs.
“This will be regulated by the family values amendment to the constitution. Broadcasters will not be allowed to broadcast scenes depicting identification of a person of the opposite sex, same-sex relationships or intimate relationships. Advertisements with such content will also be banned,” the speaker said.
