Georgia extends state of emergency

The state of emergency declared in Georgia till April 21, will end on May 10, local Bureau of Report quotes Prime Minister Giorgi Gakharia as saying at a briefing.
According to him, starting from April 15 at 21:00, the country will ban all traffic in Tbilisi, Rustavi, Batumi, and Kutaisi for 10 days.
So far, 296 people have contracted coronavirus in Georgia, 69 of those recovered, while three lost lives.
A neighboring country has declared a general quarantine since March 31. Curfew is also applied from 21:00 to 06:00 within the special regime.
