Former CEC head Vladimir Churov dies at 71

The former head of the Central Election Commission of Russia, Vladimir Churov, has died, said the former deputy chairman of the CEC, now a State Duma deputy, Leonid Ivlev, Report informs.
Churov was 70 years old. Just over a week ago, he had surgery after a massive heart attack.
