Erdogan wants Turkiye-Egypt relations to be normalized

"We wish for peace with Egypt to be established as soon as possible," President of Turkiye, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, told journalists, Report informs with reference to CNN Turk.
According to him, there should not be resentment in politics: "You must be in peace at all times. The people of Egypt are our brothers. We can't feel resentful towards them. We hope that more serious steps will be taken with Syria. Hopefully, thanks to these steps, we will prevent many games in the parts of the Islamic world related to our region."
