Türkiye supplies weapons to countries that never gave it a single pistol, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said at the IDEF 2023 Fair, Report informs.

According to him, now Türkiye's dependence on foreign countries in the defense industry is only 20%: "When we came to power, our dependence on foreign countries was 80%. No one gave us weapons to fight terrorists."

Erdogan said that now Türkiye produces its own drones and ships.
