Erdogan to visit Syria

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan will visit Syria, Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan told journalists at the closing ceremony of the 4th edition of the Antalya Diplomacy Forum, Report informs.

Stressing that the exact date of the visit is not yet known, the minister noted that Ankara is demonstrating a decisive and consistent position regarding Damascus.

Fidan also noted that the last meeting of the NATO foreign ministries discussed diplomatic steps to be taken regarding the defense of Syria.
