The time has come for peace in Karabakh under the sovereignty of Azerbaijan, and it is Armenia’s duty to contribute to its establishment and preservation. That’s because progress in relations between Baku and Yerevan will contribute to regional stability, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan told reporters upon his return from the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, Report informs referring to Anadolu Agency.
The Turkish leader stressed that Ankara expects Armenia to show a strong will to establish peace in the region instead of delaying the peace process.
Erdogan noted that anti-terrorist measures strengthened Baku’s sovereignty over Karabakh and opened a new window of opportunity for peace in the region.
