Erdogan says inflation in Türkiye to be reduced to single digits

The Turkish Cabinet of Ministers expects to reduce inflation in the country to a single digit, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said, Report informs referring to Turkish media.
He noted that the authorities, despite the pandemic, regional wars, the global economic crisis and the catastrophic earthquake in southeast Türkiye, are trying to minimize the financial burden.
According to the president, the government will again reduce inflation to single digits and ensure stable, continuous growth in the well-being of all segments of Turkish society.
