Erdogan inaugurates Barbaros Hayrettin Pasha Mosque in Istanbul

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan inaugurated the Barbaros Hayrettin Pasha Mosque in Istanbul, Report informs.

The construction was completed in 35 months.

The capacity of the Barbaros Hayrettin Pasha Mosque, designed in imitation of architect Sinan's Suleymaniye Mosque, is 20,000 people. The mosque has a parking lot for 929 cars, a workshop, a library, a multipurpose hall, and a dining hall. Maritime and shipping motifs were used in the enormous project.
