Erdogan appoints 185 generals, admirals to new positions

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has appointed 185 generals and admirals to new positions, Report informs.
The corresponding decree of the head of state was published in the Resmi Gazete.
According to the document, the reshuffle affected 119 generals in the Ground Forces, 31 in the Air Force, and 35 admirals in the Navy.
By decree of the Turkish President, General Bahtiyar Ersay was appointed commander of the First Army Corps.
Ersay is also an adviser to the minister of defense of Azerbaijan.
