Türkiye has always tried to mediate in resolving the war in Eastern Europe, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said at a rally in Giresun, Türkiye.
Report informs that, according to the Turkish leader, Ankara in this conflict acts from a position of justice, not the West.
"We acted like professional chess players. As a result, we were able to ensure the security of Türkiye," he noted.
The Turkish leader added that the main direction of the country's foreign policy is to expand the list of friendly countries and strengthen relations with them.
