Defense Minister: Türkiye supports territorial integrity of Ukraine, including Crimea

Turkish Defense Minister Yasar Guler announced Ankara's readiness to contribute to the settlement of the conflict in Ukraine, pointing out the need to preserve its territorial integrity, Report informs via NTV.

“At our meeting in Brussels, we reiterated our support for the territorial integrity, independence and sovereignty of Ukraine, including Crimea. We pointed to the need for an immediate ceasefire between the parties to the conflict in order to prevent further destruction and humanitarian tragedy, stating the importance of diplomatic means,” the Turkish minister said following the NATO ministerial meeting in Brussels.

He added that the Turkish side is ready, as before, to do everything in its power both in this matter and in the provision of humanitarian assistance.
