Death toll from Russian missile attacks in Uman rises to 15, mourning declared

The death toll from shelling of Uman by Russian troops has increased to 15, while 18 people have been wounded, Report informs via RBC-Ukraine.

"Two of them are children that can’t be identified. The fate of their parents is unknown... The rescuers will work until they make sure that no one else is left under the rubble," Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said on Twitter.

A three-day mourning has been declared in Uman due the massive attack. All festivities have been postponed for an indefinite period.

"Three people were killed, eight others injured after the Russian missile hit a residential building in Uman, Cherkasy Oblast of Ukraine," Ihor Taburets, Governor of the Oblast wrote on Telegram, adding that videos from the site are already circulating across social media.

According to him, rescuers and medics are working at the scene.
