CSTO: Dushanbe and Bishkek agree on ceasefire

Secretary General of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) Stanislav Zas spoke by phone with the heads of the security councils of Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan.
Report informs, citing CSTO, that during the talks, the secretaries of the Security Councils of Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan, Nasrullo Mahmudzoda and Marat Imankulov, expressed the need for an immediate ceasefire and holding meetings to resolve the conflict exclusively by peaceful means.
The CSTO also stressed that the parties called for the start of negotiations through the competent authorities.
According to Sputnik-Tajikistan, despite this, at the moment the situation at the border remains difficult. Both sides shoot along almost the entire perimeter of the border.
